Your donations

Welcome and essentials pack items are always needed for providing the initial gesture of kindness that we wish to extend to all those arriving in Scotland. You can find details below of all of the items that we need regularly and also some of those that we can’t accept.

In order to be able to respond flexibly to the needs of those arriving; to raise awareness of refugee rights in the local community; and to host events that bring old and new Scots together, we rely on your cash donations. We can make your money go a really long way!

Donating essential items and dropping off

We deliver over 150 welcome and essentials packs every week, from food and clothing to toiletries and pushchairs. The items we need are ever-changing so please check the LIVE list below before dropping items off to us.

We've put together a list of the standard items that go into our welcome packs in our Welcome Pack Appeal and donations guide. Donations can be made as complete welcome packs or in parts, that we are happy to add to.

We are ALWAYS in need of non-perishable food and toiletries donations and as such, have two additional drop off locations for these items only. Thank you to our pals at Neighbourhood and Decadent Riot for collecting these essentials for us.

Any donations from the 'can list' below can be dropped off at our city-centre HQ where we have zero-contact donation boxes outside our delivery gate during the following times:

Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays

10.00am - 5.00pm

10.00am - 8.00pm

Wednesdays - Saturdays

10.00am - 6.00pm

11.00am - 4.00pm

Tuesdays - Saturdays

10.30am - 5.30pm

12.00am - 5.00pm

If you are donating higher value/technology items i.e. mobile phones or laptops, please come up to the Third Floor of 1 Cadogan Square to drop off in person.

Please remember our golden rule; if you wouldn't give it to someone you do know, don't give it to someone you don't know.
